Rosemary A. Macero is a graduate of Tufts University 1981 and Case Western Reserve University School of Law 1984.  She has been practicing law since 1985.  The focus of Macero's practice is litigation of complex cases including construction, product liability including large mechanical products, chemical products, medical devices involving injuries including death, dismemberment and cancer causation claims and general liability cases in state and federal courts.  Macero handles complex construction cases involving architect and engineering errors and omission, bonding claims, change orders and accident claims. Macero also drafts and reviews construction contracts, safety plans and other industry related issues.  She has litigated complex claims including toxic substances and environmental liability. Macero has represented owners, general contractors, specialty subcontractors, architects and engineers.  Macero has experience in arbitration and mediation.  Macero has also handled complex commercial and construction claims, lead paint claims representing both insurers, corporate clients and individuals.  Macero has experience in arbitration and mediation of commercial and construction claims, injury and property damage claims. Her varied experience with complex litigation has provided a depth of experience and understanding of the complex legal issues as well as creative strategies for the cost effective resolution.

Macero is the principal at Macero & Associates, P.C.  Prior to that time Macero was an associate with Morrison Mahoney and Posternak, Blankstein and Lund and a Special Assistant Attorney General enforcing wage, labor and construction safety regulations.

Macero has been a member of the National Association of Women in Construction since 1997 and has served as a Director, Vice President, President-Elect and President of Boston Chapter.  Macero is a frequent lecturer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.  Macero was also an instructor at Bentley College in the Paralegal Studies Program in which she taught Introduction to Paralegal Studies, Contracts, Litigation, Legal Drafting and Ethics.  Macero has published various articles for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education in conjunction with the various seminars.

Macero also lectured for Practicing Law Institute on insurance coverage in employment claims in both Worker's Compensation/Employer's Liability Policies, General Liability and Employment Practices policies. Macero has also lectured for the Retired Educators Association of Massachusetts South Middlesex Chapter. Macero is a contributor to Condominium Association Institute's Condo Media Magazine.  She also arbitrates matters for the Better Business Bureau.
